The elusive Yeti, after years of anticipation, was captured at a cat show in Denver, Colorado, in 2007. She was one of a family of “yetis”: tiny, quiet, adorable, and anything but abominable, although she was nearly snowy white. She accompanied her captors willingly, but remains aloof to this day. She is mysterious, enchanting, playful, mellow, a wee bit ditzy but frequently clever, and dangerously beautiful. Her innate charm is intermittently veiled by a desire for solitude. Her peaceful presence in the lives of her people is nonetheless therapeutic, and on the occasions that she freely bestows affection, it is treasured.
One of Yeti’s constant companions is her roommate, Peekaboo. The two of them feature in many antics on this site, and they delight in perplexing their two people as to how all the extra blog entries keep popping up – as if by…magic.
Stay tuned to witness the human-feline saga unfolding chronologically on the Meow Blog page, as cats and humans vie for power over the site and the household.
